Youth Ministries Rock with Stage Front Systems

It’s Sunday night at the College Ministry Building at Bull Street Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. As the service starts, one thing is immediately apparent: this isn’t your grandfather’s church. The colors are vibrant, the video images are dramatic and the worship music is edgy and loud. There’s not a soul over 35 in the room. As churches strive to reach their communities and stay relevant, youth and college age ministries like this are popping up in every city, in every denominational group imaginable. |
| The College Ministry Building at Bull Street, the College Worship Center at First Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina, and the Youth Ministries Building at Roswell United Methodist Church in Roswell, Georgia are just the latest examples, with audio, video and lighting systems designed by Stage Front Presentation Systems.

“The audio system requires a lot more dynamic range, the lighting has to be colorful, the video has to have impact; the technical systems really have to engage the whole person, all five senses.” Bull Street, First Baptist Columbia and Roswell UMC all hired Stage Front to design and install systems to do just that. The audio systems are designed to handle the heavy, rock and roll worship typical of these ministries, and the lighting is contemporary, using traditional fixtures, color changers and moving lights for dramatic effect. Big screen video is designed to accommodate anything from PC graphics and worship software to production cameras. |
