Savannah, GA - March 31, 2007 - Stage Front Presentation Systems (SFPS), a full line design-build audiovisual systems integrator, has completed the installation of a seamless videoconferencing system for the Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR). Stage Front designed and installed videoconferencing hubs at 8 GAR offices so member realtors can more easily participate in meetings, events and training seminars.

Anne Paul Walters, CEO of the Savannah Board of Realtors, noted that member realtors have embraced videoconferencing because it lets them devote more time to selling, while also giving them the opportunity to remotely attend more GAR meetings and let their opinions shape the organization’s future.

The main videoconference components are manufactured by Tandberg, and include a Multipoint Control Unit that was installed at the Atlanta headquarters. This unit connects up to eight realtor offices simultaneously, either as a single conference or several smaller conferences. Each remote office received a VTC codec mounted on a rolling cart. This portable system includes a 34" High Resolution video monitor, a boundary microphone and powered loudspeakers.

The GAR boardroom in Atlanta was also outfitted with a wall-mounted 42" plasma TV with external JBL Professional loudspeakers to provide high-quality virtual meetings.

"The system came with great instructions and is simple to use," said Walters, who together with GAR VP Steven Fischer pushed the statewide organization to adopt the money-saving technology. "Stage Front trained us thoroughly, and they are there if we ever need service."
