Stage Front Lights Up NewSpring Church Experience!
High-Energy Worship Comes To Anderson, South Carolina
Savannah, GA - March 31, 2007 - Stage Front Presentation Systems (SFPS),
A full line design-build audiovisual systems integrator, has successfully completed
lighting design and installation for the 2,500 seat sanctuary at the NewSpring Church
in Anderson, South Carolina. The high-tech space will host worship services and other
local events.
Stage Front brought to life the church’s production and broadcast lighting requirements.
The quarter of a million dollar lighting system features a modern 2,048 channel, computerized
lighting control console with a color video monitor. The console is located in the lighting
control booth.
"The new lighting elements are the biggest upgrade to our worship service," said Shane Duffey,
NewSpring’s creative arts pastor. "This system really sets the mood and tone of the service."
Lighting dimming is handled by 136 individual 2400-watt stage dimmers, and 56 house dimmers.
House lights are controlled from 5 walk-through entry stations located at the sanctuary’s
entrances, and a full function preset control station at the control booth.

The front-of-house catwalk is equipped with pigtail plug boxes and ellipsoidal spotlights
that front light the downstage and mid-stage areas. Duffey notes, "The equipment is
user-friendly, and we are extremely pleased with the job Stage Front did for us."
Stage lighting fixtures include a practical complement of ETC, Inc. ellipsoidal and PAR spotlights
for general area washes and specials. All fixtures include frames to accept color filters, and
pattern holders are provided for the ellipsoidal spotlights for silhouette pattern projection
(trees, clouds, logos, etc.) to enhance scenic effects.
