Stage Front Creates Electrifying Worship Space for The Link
Brand New Youth Worship Center Rocks Out To Reach Out
Savannah, GA - March 31, 2007 - Stage Front Presentation Systems (SFPS),
a full line design-build audiovisual systems integrator, has completed design
and installation of video and lighting effects for The Link, a multimedia
performance center that hosts live music, spoken word, concerts, and theatrical
presentations. It is affiliated with Savannah Christian Church.
Paul Wingfield, student ministries pastor and team leader, oversaw the build-out.
"We at the church had a vision of creating a lively place for young people to
experience fellowship, and to receive our message in a fun environment," Wingfield
said. "Stage Front understood these goals, and designed a video and lighting package
that resonates with junior high students to young adults."
Lighting equipment includes PARS-style lights for the stage back light wash, and
automated front of house spotlights that perform front stage wash and house fly in
effects. Accent lighting includes ellipsoidal spotlights with DMX-controlled gobo
rotators and PAR spotlights outfitted with color changers

Stage Front also created a broadband audio/video distribution system that can be viewed on
ceiling-mounted 32" video monitors with full stereo audio. Multiple input sources include
a live feed from the presentation platform, DVD players and a video messaging system that
features 100 built-in professional backgrounds, customization tools and support of BMP, JPG
and TIF formats.
The Link is a 31,000 square foot facility that supports youth ministry programs with a 600-seat
auditorium and performance platform. The auditorium projection system includes a 6500ANSI Lumen
video/data projector for high-resolution display of computer and video sources that are switched
by a dual output high-resolution TV One switcher. Other features include keying, PIP and
video-in-graphics.
