Inc. Magazine’s annual convention celebrating the 500 fastest growing, privately owned companies in the US chose Savannah, GA as the location for the 2006 convention. Stage Front Production Services participated by providing lighting, video and audio support for most of the events. Truss, lighting, rigging and motors were installed in the main ballroom, where speakers included former President Clinton and Bernie Marcus, president of Home Depot.
Stage Front also provided a sound, video and lighting system for a luncheon with featured presenter Tom Friedman, author of “The World is Flat”. The luncheon presentation featured four IMAG screens and a JBL VerTec Line Array PA system to assure the audience of over 2200 could hear every word in the trade center exhibit hall.
At the opening night reception in the Westin Hotel, four large wall mounted projection screens, each framed by a gold picture frame, enhanced the elegant appearance of this high-end event. The outdoor portion of the reception was accentuated by furniture groupings and video presentations on distributed plasma screens.
The closing night reception was held in Forsyth Park, and again Stage Front took a front row position, with moving lights accenting the historic fountain in addition to lighting the moss-filled oak trees and the amazing sidewalk art that was provided by students of the Savannah College of Art & Design. |

During SCAD’s “Films in Forsyth”, a three night outdoor film event open to the public, Stage Front provided a movie experience with a huge inflatable screen, two 10k lumen projectors and a 5.1 surround system…park sized!
Stage Front also supported many events for The Savannah Music Festival, a 17 day long celebration of all types of music, held annually in Savannah. Our stages saw the American Talent Competition events, plus Jazz, Blues, Zydeco and more. .
