SFPS -- STAGE FRONT PRESETNATION SYSTEMS -- header

June 11, 2004

Stage Front Presentation Systems provided videoconferencing and large screen projection for recent G-8 Summit events in Savannah and St. Simons Island.

The Savannah-based company provided video teleconferencing systems for the Japanese and Russian delegations. In Savannah, more than 100 members of the Japanese press presented questions to delegates in Sea Island via videoconference. Other systems facilitated meetings of a smaller, more secure nature thanks to an advanced encryption system, keeping the transmissions private as needed.

The videoconferencing systems allowed information to be exchanged quickly and efficiently over distances that could easily span the entire globe, not just from Savannah to St. Simons Island.

Stage Front Presentation Systems also provided a dramatic large-scale video projection system in downtown Savannah for SEDA (Savannah Economic Development Authority) during G8. This system projected a DVD image spanning 60 feet across two sides of a downtown building façade. The video promoted high-tech businesses in Savannah, running four nights with a constant crowd of spectators.
